1. Acceptance

By using Alt Me, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The Service

Alt Me lets you create an AI-powered Alt Me from your professional content. Visitors can chat with your altme to learn about your expertise. You control what content feeds your altme and who can access it.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Alt Me a license to process it (create embeddings, extract entities) solely to operate your Alt Me. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload. Do not use the service to impersonate others or create misleading representations.

5. AI Limitations

While we ground responses in your uploaded content, AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate. Alt Me is not liable for decisions made based on altme responses. Users should verify important information independently.

6. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed.

7. Limitation of Liability

Alt Me is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
